According to the Municipality, the works related to the drain system of the streets and surroundings of San Pedro de Atacama are almost finished.

With this excellent news the last preparations to receive with better infrastructure the tourists are almost ready, especially when in this time of the year they visit with more frequency this town.

Also we have to mention the recent works of remodeling of the central plaza of the town, where the historical structure that gave origin to this town was rescued, using autochthonous materials that represent the roots of the culture Aymara.
